Please understand - while we take great care in creating high-quality products, we are unable to replace items due to breakage, wear and tear, or manufacturer defects. This includes issues such as swivel defects, string defects, and/or recoil mechanism failures.
 
The recoil mechanism may get stuck and the string may not recoil. Simply try “winding” it back up or twist the silver piece on the back of the reel and it should recoil back to its normal position. Should the acrylic piece come off of the reel, simply take hot glue or super glue to replace. I use E6000 glue and this works wonderfully!
 
Important Note:
All badge reels are tested and confirmed to be fully functional before shipment. Because the retractable mechanism can be sensitive to handling during transit or daily use, I do not offer refunds or replacements for damage occurring after delivery.
 
If you believe the item arrived with a manufacturing defect, I am happy to inspect it. However, the item must be returned before a replacement can be issued. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer - I’m sorry, no exceptions will be made. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
 
This policy is in place to protect my small business from misuse and to ensure fair and consistent treatment for all customers.
 
A majority of the badge reels are made to order. Please note the size of the badge reel. Most reels are 2” either vertically or horizontally, unless specified otherwise.
 
Please be conscious of how much you put on the reel, as extra weight can affect the mechanism recoil, causing it to break.
